Toronto Mall’s ‘Trend Santa’ Goes Global
An unusually fashionable Toronto mall Santa has gone world, making headlines from North America to Europe.
Images of Yorkdale Buying Centre’s hipper model of the man in pink have been published throughout Canada, the U.S.Germany, France and the U.K.in the week after the jolly character was interviewed by CTV Toronto.
Paul Mason, better often called “Fashion Santa,” said organizers are “so pleased” with the attention garnered by the distinctive take on a Christmas tradition.
He’s mentioned he’s seen coverage on CNN, GQ and Time Journal. He is also been featured on ABC’s Good Morning America, BBC News, Harper’s Bazaar and The Telegraph.
“Canada’s ‘Style Santa’ brings dapper cheer and charity,” the BBC posted on Thursday.

“Style Santa in Toronto and Hipster Santa in Portland are delighting parents all over the place,” GQ wrote in an internet article.
