We Tried It: Salvatore Ferragamo UOMO EDT
I’ve appreciated men’s perfumes for so long as I can remember. I used to borrow my Dad’s aftershave when he wasn’t looking. Ten years into the life-style trade, I’m equally (if not more) enamoured by fragrances designed for men as I’m for ladies.
Which is why I used to be delighted to try out Salvatore Ferragamo’s latest launch, UOMO.
Proper salvatore ferragamo clutch sale before my trip to Europe, I unpacked the perfume on my Instagram. The 50 ml EDT is 2-toned: it’s see-by way of within the centre with the gold molecules glistening through the bottle. The sides of the bottle are embellished with designer’s label on it in black. Frankly, the design was a bit louder than normal which shocked me. However hey, what’s a man without surprises
Idea, UOMO EDT
Actually translated, Uomo means man. The perfect Italian man, in line with the fabulous designer Salvatore Ferragamo. Italian males are known for his or her distinct charm, tailor-made fits and love for cappuccinos. The perfume is a celebration of Italian males and their distinct life-style.
The true question is, do it’s a must to be a man to wear the perfume
I don’t suppose so.
Notes, UOMO EDP
The top notes are quite sweet with bergamot interspersed with cardamom. I couldn’t odor the pepper till about quarter-hour later. Along with tiramisu and orange blossoms. Endnotes have Tonka beans (my favourite!), sandalwood and cashmere wooden.
A fancy set of ingredients, the perfume begins on a sweet be aware and ends someplace on woody notes.
I took it with me to Basel (and different elements of Europe) and it lasts for about 5-6 hours which is very spectacular when it comes to longevity.
If I had been to talk about sillage, I’d say it’s heavy—or strong—like an espresso shot.
First Impression: A good buy for individuals who recognize the distinct and unfamiliar.
You’ll love it if: If you like all things Italian, or you probably have a factor for sweet, spice and everything good.
